Imposter Syndrome and Success That’s Not Designed for You with Nikki Innocent

In today’s episode, I’m chatting with 2-time TEDx speaker, podcast host, and certified career coach Nikki Innocent on imposter syndrome and success that’s not designed for you—that is, success that was created to fit one mold and likely doesn’t fit you.

We also discuss what it means to be “other” or feel like you’re “in between.” Nikki tells us how her mission is to share stories of (mostly) women are in the in-between so they can be fully themselves and inspire other people to live truly authentically.

We talk about the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels and how imposter syndrome is not a problem for individuals to fix within themselves, but rather a systemic issue to be approached from a grander scale. For more information on that, listen to my podcast called “The Systemic Problem of Imposter Syndrome and Tips for Freelancers.”
