Simple Tips for Customer Retention with Phil Coley

Do you spend more time acquiring customers than keeping the ones you’ve got? Do you know the value of the clients you have vs the would-be clients you’re trying to get?

Today I’m interviewing Phil Coley on customer retention, why it’s so important, and some tips to keeping more of the customers you already have. We also chat about some of the differences between sales and marketing and how your products and services sell themselves when your marketing is on point.

Phil Coley is a British entrepreneur dividing his time between his home in France and business interests in the UK. Phil has a background in sales and marketing for over 30 years, from starting selling advertising for a regional newspaper to consultancy positions with some of the UK`s leading contact centers.

Phil actually became a very young entrepreneur at the age of 12, creating a local free ads flyer in his local village and selling advertising space. The flyer had to be put together with sticky letters and photocopied – no digital publishing in those days!

Over the years Phil has set up and sold businesses, experienced highs and lows—even losing it all. Today Phil works closely with his business partner, Mark Pearce, building successful businesses and working with other business owners to scale up growth and ultimately create successful businesses.
